Q. Can I participate in the Dolphin Swim program and the Animal program if I have a medical condition?

A. A health form will be distributed at the Dolphin Swim program, the Marine program and the Animal program. Those who fall under the categories here may not be permitted to participate. Check below before participating.

Q. Can I enter the dolphin facility and take photographs without participating in a program?

A. Only those participating in a program may enter the dolphin facility.

Q. Are programs available in winter?

A. Programs are available in winter. Wellness Village Motobu lends out free wetsuits. You will be asked to wear a wetsuit when participating in winter.

Q. Can young children participate in the Dolphin program?

A. For the Dolphin Encounter, Smile Dolphin, and Mogumogu Picnic, children ages 0 to 5 must be accompanied by a guardian (paid). Children 110 cm or taller may join the Dolphin Swim program.

Q. Will the Marine program be canceled in the event of bad weather?

A. The program is held as usual in the event of rain, but for downpours, gales, or other weather conditions that may interfere with the safety of the program, or when a thunderstorm warning has been issued, the program may be canceled or temporarily suspended.

Q. Will the Cultural experience program be canceled in the event of bad weather?

A. All cultural experience programs are held indoors and thus will not be canceled due to rain. However, in case of a typhoon, the program will be canceled for the safety of our guests.

Q. Can I take the items I made during the Cultural experience program home?

A. Items made during most programs may be taken home on the same day; however, the ceramics program requires two months of drying and finishing. (Shipped COD, Japan only)

Q. Can children join programs without a guardian?

A. Children may require accompaniment by a guardian depending on their age. For details, check the age requirements for each program.
*One guardian is required per child. A single guardian may not accompany two children who require a guardian.
*Guardians will also be charged a regular program fee.

Access and Parking

Q. Is parking available?

A. Parking is available free of charge.

Reservations

Q. Do programs require a reservation?

A. All programs require a reservaton by the previous day. Reservations can be made online or by telephone.

Q. Do cancellation fees apply?

A. No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made by 5:00 p.m. the day before the event, but 100% of the fee will be charged for same-day cancellations.

Other

Q. Is there a beach at the facilities where we can swim?

A. While there is a beach at the facilities, it is used as a port and thus swimming is prohibited. We thank you for your understanding.

Q. May I bring a camera along during the programs?

A. Unfortunately, cameras are not permitted for safety reasons during the Marine Program. They are permitted during other programs; however, depending on the program, they risk getting wet, so we ask that you bring them at your own risk.

Q. Can towels be borrowed?

A. 1 towel per person may be borrowed free of charge in the shower rooms. You may use the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available there as well.
